At Liping Jewelry, we take pride in the craftsmanship of every piece. Because most of our jewelry is handcrafted to order in Wuzhou, we have established the following policies to ensure a fair and transparent experience for our global customers.
1. General Return Window
Ready-to-Ship Items: We offer a 15-day return/exchange window from the date of delivery.
Custom-Made Orders: Due to their unique nature, all custom-designed jewelry, personalized engravings, and modified items (including resized rings) are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a confirmed manufacturing defect.
2. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following criteria:
- In its original, unworn, and undamaged condition.
- Must include all original packaging, certificates of authenticity (GIA/IGI/GRA), and warranty cards.
- Must have a Return Authorization Number (RAN) provided by our team.
3. Cancellation Policy (For Custom Orders)
Once production begins, materials and labor are allocated specifically to your piece. Cancellations will incur fees based on the production stage:
- Pre-Production: Full refund minus any non-refundable transaction fees (PayPal/Stripe).
- In-Production (After CAD Approval): A 30% service fee will be deducted from the total order value.
- Production Completed (Before Shipping): A 50% service fee will be deducted to cover labor and material costs.
4. Fees and Refunds
- Non-Company Related Returns: For returns due to personal preference, payment platform transaction fees are non-refundable (approx. 3.4% - 4.5% depending on the provider).
- Shipping & Duties: The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs, insurance, and any import/export duties or customs clearance fees incurred during the return to China.
- Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
5. Lifetime Repair & Maintenance
We are committed to the longevity of your jewelry:
- Within 30 Days: We offer free repairs for manufacturing defects. We will cover the shipping costs within this window.
- After 30 Days: Repairs remain free of charge (labor), but the customer is responsible for shipping costs and any material costs (e.g., replacing a lost center stone or adding gold) charged at cost price.
- Exclusions: Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or unauthorized third-party repairs is not covered by the free warranty.
6. How to Initiate a Return
- Contact Us: Email lip070814@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
- Get Authorization: Once approved, we will issue a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and provide the return shipping address.
- Pack Securely: Double-box your item. For security, DO NOT write "jewelry," "diamonds," or "gems" on the outside of the package.
- Ship with Tracking: You must use a trackable shipping method with signature confirmation. Please provide us with the tracking number immediately.
